Why a client pulled out of an RFP he/she has been supporting for the past 6 months, or why car working perfectly for less than a month of purchase breakdown on a family trip in the middle of the highway
Or why does a baby not stop crying even after it spent a whole day playing with his/her favourite toys and has a belly full of food.
Or why did Daenerys go rogue and torch the whole Kings Landing just because Cersei was unrelenting.
There is a reason for all of this. Why unexpected things happen and am sure everyone has read the Godfather so seen text with quotes like everything happens for a reason.
It is important to understand what clicks and does not click in the first place; before understanding the butterfly effect.
When Virat Kholi hits the most unbelievable cover drives, or ever see a Ted Talk where Tony Robbins is so convincing when his critics in the audience concede.
Or a kid doing amazing acrobatics on the street for money but you wondered Gosh I wish I could do that.
Or a car on the street, say a Jaugar black in color with sleek hood and pointed windows comes and stops right next to you, you feel the driver will step out and sell it to you with the exact amount of money you can afford and you can take it from Bangalore-Mysore every weekend.
Speaking of cars and bearing in mind we are still on the Why in Butterfly effect.
If people have read or seen Pursuit of Happyness where Chris Garner in his mundane poverty days; looks at a car parked in wall street immediately asks the guy

“I have two questions for you; what you do and how you do it”. The answer the guy says is “I am good with numbers and good with people”. This changed Chris Garner. And everybody knows what happened next.
There are books like the Secret, or the Alchemist or Why I sold my ferrari or Find your WHY (more recent one), etc which go way deeper into the WHY.
Going back to Chris Garner’s story, him catching his eye to what he liked, or rather the car caught his eye is what started it all in the first place. It clicked. He wanted it. Just like you see someone having an ice-cream flavour you never tasted as child or adult life and you want it. Simple.
Remember Daenerys Targaryen in Season 3 and 4 right to season 7 she was unstoppable. Only when she lost her path she turned rogue.
It’s best to speak in such examples rather than starting with a premise, building assertions, making a point relevant to the context and drawing a conclusion.
Which is what an article writing is about. Don’t get me wrong I am doing exactly that but with examples.
What Danny, Chris, Virat, Tony in the above examples have is unexplanatory. It’s just magic to see them do what they do; even in their interviews (IN case of Danny the writers of GoT) can’t explain why or how this magic happened. It just clicked and Eureka found the answer.
So Why as they say has many reasons but how, what, when, where , who even that no one knows.
Even the most absurd videos and memes stick in your head and you cannot explain why. For example why does “Maaro mujshe maaro” have such a strong fan following. It just clicks. Why do people keep making videos on “Ghungaroo tute gaye” even after 22 years of its Hrithik’s re-debut

( yeah he was giving proxy attendance with classes only for A-list actors directors for the past two Decade in films – in actuality he is a big disappointment ). And it goes viral. Why no one knows.
Most unbelievable are Cat or dog or parrot or pigeon or whatever animal videos. Silly stuff like following a glare from a watch, or making frantic sounds when his/her owner jumps with a bedsheet and disappears.
Just get a pet and see it do these things live. Why do people watch that stuff? No one knows it just clicks.
New ones are a white feline cat on top right corner of the camera head banging; and on the right a guy on a Congo. He plays and sings Hip hop ho. Another video is; Bigini shoot. Which shoot. Bigni Bigni shoot.(jlts its Bikini with a “K” dumbass)
Yes sometimes we are that bored.
![San Andreas (2015) - Tsunami Scene - Pure Action [4K] disaster, movie, earthquake, San, Andreas, Alexandra, Daddario, Dwayne, Johnson, film, full, clip, scene, original, moments, high, quality, best, whole, epic, kimer, lorens, tsunami, tidal, wave, golden bridge, escape, destruction, collapse GIF](https://i0.wp.com/thumbs.gfycat.com/BoilingDeadAmphiuma-small.gif?w=1200&ssl=1)
Concluding on the point why disaster strikes for which the butterfly reference was used is this. It strikes because it could. It clicked. It was waiting for the right moment and it struck. So next time your client pulls out or your baby doesn’t stop crying, say to people asking for Why.
I don’t know why they just clicked and changed the channel.
